There is no justice in a system that was built on injustice.
Until Black women and people can live โ and not only live, but thrive โ free from the fear of police violence and white supremacy, there is NO justice.

The atrocity of mass sterilization targeting immigrants and BIPOC in general by the U.S. government is shocking, yet nothing new. Bravo to Senator @AOC for recognizing that the US has to atone for both its past and present discretions against marginalized communities.
The fact of the matter is the United States has engaged in a program of mass human rights violations targeting immigrants.
This includes mass child separation, systemic sexual assault of people in detention, kangaroo-court procedures, & more.
Our country must atone for it all.
