So much for change then?
Vote Burnham, get more of the same.
Labour are no longer a party of the Left looking after those who work hard and are struggling to make ends meet.
Time for real change.

Overall, Sefton's local election offered some hope. Community independents, Greens, and other left-wingers can get along and coordinate

If you can't say the G word and can't recognise what most respected genocide scholars have already said, are your really fit to be Labour leader, let alone PM?
The next general election will be fought by Left and Right with LAB clearly on the same side as the Tories and Reform.
The overwhelming majority of people in Enfield voted against the New Town at Crews Hill and building on the Green Belt.
With many other brownfield sites available, this single issue could well see Labour lose all its MPs at the next General Election.

Messages between @FeryalClark and Mandelson have now been published.
It is important to recognise that Labour have more in common with the Epstein class than the working class.
Look forward to Labour losing Enfield North at the next election.

Is asking for "pure cold rage" conducive to the public good?
Just asking the question?
Would love to see a debate between Your Party leader @jeremycorbyn and Reform's @Nigel_Farage on who actually represents disadvantaged and oppressed working people in this country.
74% of British people say it is morally wrong for energy firms to profit from the Iran war.
Rachel Reeves has offered no windfall tax. No price freeze. No cap on profits.
If a genocide is not a red line, then there really is no point continuing the conversation?
Every single Labour MP, councillor, member should consider why they continue be in a party facilitating human rights abuses.
Help the oppressed not the oppresser.

The people of Newham deserve honesty and transparency in politics.
Prior to the Annual Council Meeting, the Newham Independents and the Green Party had reached a written agreement regarding the election of civic positions and the operation of the Council. This agreement was discussed and understood by both parties.
However, minutes before the meeting, the Green Party changed its position. Despite the agreement that had been reached, Green councillors voted with and seconded Labour Party nominations for key positions, including the Vice Chair of the Council. In return, the Green Party secured the Chair of the Council position.
This decision was completely contrary to the written agreement and the assurances that had been given to us the day before the meeting.
Residents voted for change and for greater accountability at Newham Council. Many residents will rightly ask why commitments made in writing were abandoned at the last moment and why political deals took precedence over the alternative arrangements that had already been agreed.
We believe residents deserve openness about what happened and why. The Newham Independents will continue to hold the administration to account and stand up for the residents who elected us to represent their interests.
The choice is clear: we will continue to put residents first and remain a strong and independent voice for Newham.

Sadly, too many Muslims are STILL voting for Labour in droves. Look at the council results in Redbridge, Edmonton, Ealing and many other areas in London and Birmingham where Independents should have clinched it. @RedbridgeIndys@NewhamIndParty@EnfieldAction@Akhmedyakoob1
This misinformation from @FeryalClark is exactly why Labour needs to be removed from Enfield.
The electorate in Enfield chose to remove Labour from Enfield, not @enfield_greens
At the next GE, it will be the 3 ineffective Lab MPs in Enfield who will need to go
@Keir_Starmer
Shell doubled its profits since Trump bombed Iran.
BP doubled its profits since Trump bombed Iran.
Your energy bill paid for their dividends. BAE Systems built the bombs.
Hilarious to see Enfield Labour whining last night after being voted out of power.
Residents in Enfield sent a clear message at the elections; they wanted Labour out.
Perhaps if they complained less and actually started doing some work, residents would actually vote for them.
They’re smiling, but tonight the Greens chose to hand control of Enfield Council to the Tories.
@ZackPolanski can you explain this to progressive voters in Enfield?
Message is clear: vote Green, get Tory.
Hasnain Jafer sailed with 500 activists to Gaza to deliver aid. Seized by Israel in international waters.
His MP is Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood. His father said she gave them "absolutely zero”.
Your Party MPs Jeremy Corbyn and Ayoub Khan stood with him. Mahmood did not.
The behaviour of Enfield Labour last night showed exactly why they are not fit for office.
Well done to @enfield_greens for not doing a deal with them to keep them in power.

No coalition or alliance: Enfield Green councillors reject deals with Labour and Conservatives
Enfield Green Party has today confirmed that its councillors will not enter a formal coalition or alliance with either the Conservatives or Labour, 🧵
Tony Blair thinks the answer to this country’s problems is AI, welfare cuts and endless spending on war.
Who benefits? Arms companies and tech billionaires.
Once again, Blair is wrong. The answer is a redistribution of wealth and power and the relentless search for peace.
