Today - #RogationSunday - the day when we pray for Gods blessing on the newly planted crops and for a good harvest - our 10am Parish Eucharist will be live-streamed from the Remembrance Chapel in Church. Service materials can be accessed via the ‘Parish News’ tab on our website
Our beautiful building may be closed, but our community is open! During lockdown you can join our weekly services every Sunday at 10:30am, as well as daily prayers and resources for children and families every weekday. All here on our Facebook page https://t.co/iu7eqlbSaI
Did you know there is also a children’s version of The Blessing. Please, if you have time, listen to these children singing. It will help you start your day with a smile. https://t.co/PEtYjY7BQA
As we come towards the end of #CAWeek there are two last chances to join the @christian_aid online quiz. 7.30pm tonight and tomorrow on Facebook: https://t.co/DdECDFWIsa
Our church bakers are delivering 32 boxes of cakes to 16 care homes today. We’ve also given cakes to those who are caring for loved ones at home and to schools. Rev Julie is truly humbled by the kindness and the witness of the hospitality Jesus calls us to show one another. X
We’ve reorganised our ‘Parish News’ tab on our website to include copies of service booklets as well as the readings and Children’s activities for each week. Hopefully this will enable an even greater sense of participation in our live-streaming 😊
Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
you will preserve me;
you will stretch forth your hand against the fury of my enemies;
your right hand will save me.
Ps 138:7
Loneliness is one of the most painful experiences for human beings to go through. God creates human beings to belong - we belong to God, we belong to creation, we belong to one another.
