Carl Jung believed life truly begins at 40, viewing the first four decades as "research"—a preparatory phase focused on building an ego, establishing a career, and meeting societal expectations. The second half of life, starting around 40, is for inward exploration, authenticity, and fulfilling one’s true self (individuation) rather than pursuing external validation.
Jimmy Gracey is visiting friends in Barcelona for Spring break and perhaps unsuspecting of the criminals in the area.
Found another pic taken from that night. That is a really big necklace he was wearing at Shoko. It would definitely stand out. #MissingPerson
30 Things To Do ALONE At Least Once In Your Life
1. Sit in complete silence for one hour. No phone. No music. Just your own thoughts - unfiltered, uncomfortable, and finally heard.
Women grow an entire human being for nine months, push it out of their body, and then are expected to be back in the office in 6-8 weeks and see the baby for a handful of hours a day.
We’ve genuinely normalized this.
It doesn’t register as insane until you say it out loud.

Most students would be dramatically better off spending the years from age ten to fourteen doing nothing but reading instead of going to school. Nothing else. Just reading whatever interests them, following their curiosity, going deep on topics that fascinate them.
Years of pure voracious reading would develop their minds far better than any traditional curriculum. Forget teaching altogether. Give them books and time and silence. The education would happen automatically through the act of sustained engagement with written thought.
If I pay another woman to do what I do for my children, she would be called a professional doing important work.
But if I do the exact same work myself for my own children, then I’m just wasting my life and my potential.
Welcome to feminist reasoning.
