Former Director of Climate Change, Disaster Management and Nature-Based Solution and Ex Director of Engineering, Maintenance and City Planning Department
Honored to have taken the oath of office today as State Minister of the Ministry of Health and Human Services, SWS.
My sincere gratitude to H.E. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur for his trust and confidence. I am committed to serving our people with integrity, dedication, and purpose.
The Digil and Mirifle clans faced mass atrocities and a systematic prosecution by the successive Somali governments from 1960 to 1999. Today, History repeats itself. The same perpetrators again want to kill our people, loot our resources and displace us from our land by force. We will not accept again, we will fight. @US2SOMALIA@UKinSomalia@EU_in_Somalia@_AfricanUnion@IGADPeace@UNinSomalia
🌙✨ Ramadan Mubarak ✨🌙
May this sacred month bring peace to your home, strength to your heart, and barakah in every step. 🤲
Let our fasting and prayers translate into compassion, unity, and real support for those who need it most. 💛

Today Baidoa Municipality launched Fariin Maal Citizen Engagement Platform https://t.co/fnVJjj9hFf. The new Platform will enhance communication, collaboration, and interaction between government and the public. It improves citizen engagement by making it easier, faster, and more transparent for people to participate in decision-making processes and access public services. I would like to thank @UNDPSomalia and Saameynta Project for the Support of this Platform.

We are happy to receive the DSRSG/RC/HC @GConway_UN in Baidoa. The mission visited Barwaaqo sites to showcase achievements of durable solution projects supported by partners. The resettled IDPs requested sustainable livelihood support, resilient housing and education. The vulnerable IDPs expressed concerns over the aid cuts which was a key component for the drought displaced population in the region.
