اللهم لك الحمد، تُظهر الخرائط في عام 2026 تعافيا مناخيا وفارقاً كبيرا مقارنة بعام 2025 الذي شهد جفافاً واضحاً وتراجعاً في المحاصيل الزراعية.

نشهد في نفس الفترة كما هو موضح من هذا العام سيادة اللون الأخضر في أجزاء واسعة من البلاد.

الموسم المائي هذا العام كان أكثر توازناً، وامتد إلى مناطق جغرافية أعمق في سوريا، ولم يعد مقتصراً على المناطق الساحلية فقط.

Syria’s 2025 vs 2026 Agricultural Stress Visualized 🌾🇸🇾

2026 is shaping up to be a strong year for Syria’s agriculture. The FAO maps below tell the story clearly: the first three months of 2025 were overwhelmingly red across the country, clear signals of severe drought. In contrast, the same period in 2026 is largely green.

What stands out immediately is a clear shift: (1) a reversal in the Northeast, Syria’s breadbasket, (2) a broader recovery of rainfed agriculture, and (3) a marked stabilization extending well beyond the coastal areas.

Yet, caution is still needed, with at least three structural constraints remaining: (1) depleted farmer resilience after last year's drought, (2) irrigation remains fragile (Euphrates?), (3) economic constraints for farmers (think 'inputs').

(The maps show the Agricultural Stress Index (ASI), a satellite-based indicator that identifies areas where crops are experiencing drought-induced stress.)

أطفال درعا تم اعتقالهم قبل مظاهرة الحميدية بحوالي شهر وكان ذلك الحدث هو الشرارة الحقيقية التي فجرت الثورة في درعا ولا يمكن القفز عنه.

كما ان مظاهرات خرجت في عدة مناطق في سوريا بتاريخ 15 اذار وتجاهلها يعطي صورة ناقصة ومضللة عن تسلسل الاحداث.

رحم الله الشهداء وغفر لهم.

أخ هادي، إذا نظرنا إلى الوضع في سوريا بواقعية نجد أنه مقلق ومخيف في جوانب كثيرة، لكنه في الوقت ذاته يشهد تحسناً سريعاً وواضحاً. ما يدعو للتفاؤل هو أن عجلة التحسن مستم��ة، وأن أبناء سوريا يسعون بجد لبناء بيوتهم ووطنهم.

خلال زياراتي المتعددة لسوريا، أسباب التشاؤم لا تعد ولا تحصى، ولكن يجب أن يكون لدى شباب الداخل والخارج صمود ومقاومة لهذه المشاهد، مقاومة يشحنها التفاؤل والإيجابية. لأن التشاؤم أو التذمر أو إحاطة الإنسان نفسه بالسلبية لفترة طويلة هو من أول أسباب الهزيمة والانكسار. المرحلة الماضية كانت قاسية، والمرحلة الحالية أيضاً قاسية، وتتطلب جسارة في المشاعر والوعي لمقاومة الواقع وتحويله من السلب إلى الإيجاب.

هذه مسؤولية تقع على عاتقنا جميعاً. الثورة مرحلة، ونشكر كل من ضحّى فيها، ونترحم على الشهداء، أما اليوم فدور الشباب أن يكمل الطريق بالعمل والبناء. كل مجهود صغير له أثر كبير!

نسأل الله أن يستعملنا لما فيه خير لأهلنا ولبلادنا..

Calling on Muslims for support does not erase reality. Iran is just as brutal as Israel. Playing the Palestinian card does not erase the reality of a government built on violence, destruction, and promoting wars. Iran has caused bloodshed and instability in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and even parts of Africa, leaving behind destruction, killing, and suffering for women, children, and civilians. They have nothing to offer the region except destabilisation, all supposedly ‘to free Palestine’.

Iran’s recent attacks on Muslim countries reveal their dark and real face of envy and hatred towards Muslims and show that their interest is nothing but domination, destruction, and control. This is beyond shameful and has nothing to do with the Islamic guidelines they claim to promote in this post.

But even if they claim to free Palestine, Muslims would probably have another war just to push them out of Palestine afterwards. Their actions show they have no genuine interest in Palestine. Instead, they use this cause to manipulate desperate Palestinians and win the hearts of the public for their own political agenda.

Israel, on the other hand, is no better. It is an occupying power that has caused wars, destruction, and bloodshed across the region, and it acts with a green light to carry out military actions and killings without consequences. Its policies and wars have brought immense violence and instability to the Middle East.

Israel will eventually find itself in conflict with many countries in the region, Muslim and Arab alike. Having the United States and Western countries as allies does not erase this reality, nor does it guarantee that this support will last forever.

Dear Ann, please get the facts corrected. This is a region where history matters deeply, and how it is recorded can later lead either to peace or to blood.

Children in Daraa went out in February with the slogan “It’s your turn, Doctor.” They were arrested, and this became the first spark that made the city rise entirely.

The people of Daraa then faced arrests, killings, siege, and shelling. From that moment, other Syrian cities began to come out in solidarity with Daraa, chanting: “Daraa, we stand with you until death.”

The government later recognised 18 March as the date of the first martyr in Daraa, the actual moment that ignited the uprising across the country.

Today, Syrians from every sect and community rose together in nationwide demonstrations affirming the unity of Syrian land and rejecting all projects of division. From the #Shi’a of Nubl and Zahraa, to the #Christians across every major city, to the people of #Homs and #Daraa, the #Alawites in Masyaf and the coastal regions, the #Kurds in Rukn al-Din in #Damascus, and the #Druze of Sahnaya in Rural Damascus, the entire mosaic of #Syria marched with one voice.

These demonstrations also expressed firm condemnation of the treacherous #Israel attack today on the town of #Beit_Jinn, an aggression widely seen as an attempt to destabilize the country and provoke escalation.

The unity shown across Syria sends a clear message:

تم بحمد الله تركيب محطة أرصاد جوية في محافظة #درعا، وهي الأولى من نوعها في المنطقة.
ورغم أن محطات مماثلة تنتشر في الجولان المحتل، إلا أن هذه المحطة تمثل الانطلاقة الأولى في الجنوب السوري وشمال الأردن، وقد جرى تركيبها في بلدة المسيفرة بالريف الشرقي من محافظة درعا.

تقيس وتخزن المحطة:

• سرعة الرياح واتجاهها
• درجات الحرارة والرطوبة النسبية
• الضغط الجوي
• الأشعة الشمسية ومستويات الأشعة فوق البنفسجية
• كميات ومعدلات الأمطار

��تقوم هذه المحطة:

• بتزويد الباحثين ببيانات دقيقة تساهم في تطوير مشاريع الطاقة المتجددة (مزارع شمسية ورياح) في الحاضر والمستقبل.
• دعم الفلاحين والمزارعين في التنبؤ بالطقس وفهم أنماط المناخ المحلي، مما يساعد على إدارة المحاصيل الزراعية بدقة أكبر وتحسين الإنتاج.

هذه خطوة عملية نحو بناء قاعدة بيانات علمية مناخية تخدم الطاقة والزراعة معًا، وتفتح الباب أمام استثمارات علمية واقتصادية في الجنوب السوري.
