MAID IN MALACAÑANG BLOCK SCREENING EVENT

In June 2022, an art piece created by a young artist named Vanberry caught my attention on Facebook when Atty. Larry Gadon shared it on his timeline. The artwork featured both President Rodrigo Duterte and President Bongbong Marcos, and it was not only visually stunning but also heartfelt and I really find it cool.

So when we were looking for youth to sponsor for Maid in Malacañang, it was her on top of my head! I presented the concept to the volunteers, and the majority supported it. I personally reached out to her and she said yes! Days before our Block Screening Event in Greenbelt, she mentioned she might not make it because “Luluwas pa po ako ng Manila...” and asked if she could pass her slot to a friend in Manila. I said okay but I informed her that our Sponsors will be delighted to know if we can still sponsor her and her friends in Mindoro. She agreed and watched the film while we did the same in Manila.

We later proposed to her that we’d like to sponsor more youth with their families in the province and they were all giddy with this decision. We covered half the cinema expenses at Xentro Mall in Calapan and her group of friends were able to mount the event successfully.

NOTES:
This Maid in Malacañang Block Screening Event in Mindoro Film was released due to:
1. The request of majority of the sponsors I am in contact with throughout the duration of 2022-2023. No other entity apart from the Sponsors can request to pull this film down. Anyone who wishes for this video to be removed from any social media platform of People's Initiative PH are being challenged (with complete documentation) by 10/18 Sponsors TO PAY THEM BACK IN FULL amounting to P22,500/P30,000 received by the youth group movement in Mindoro.
2. Elyne Villamor and People’s Initiative PH being maligned by a Twitter X User named Zoya Sophia Orobia that the Maid in Malacañang Block Screening Event in Mindoro did not happen. She has been pushing this fake news controversy since March 2023 and fed a lot of wrong information to Laila Friala that resulted to their long battle on Twitter. May this clarification serve as an evidence to her libelous accusation of fraud and scam thrown to me (over Maid in Malacañang Block Screening Event in Mindoro [dated August 13, 2022] apart from the video coverage and van solicitation done under my name for the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant Field Trip [dated January 15, 2023]) mentioned by Zoya herself in her social media platform.
