Eniac Ventures

We lead seed rounds and partner with founders from 0 to 1

[Eniac Ventures @EniacVC]

From our first fund in 2010 at $1.6m to announcing $220m today, we remain steadfast in our mission to serve founders at the earliest stages. We are grateful to our founders, LPs, co-investors and the community for letting us continue doing what we love.

When multistage consensus fuels growth, small funds have two ways to invest.

Pre-consensus: find deals before they become consensus.

Consensus: get access to early consensus rounds led by multistages.

At Eniac we do both. Leading pre-consensus and joining consensus rounds.

Nice to see people using tech to make a positive difference in the world!

In a world of slop, be a goodlabs🩸

Introducing Hugo: the first human companion robot.

At Boston Dynamics, I was Chief Strategy Officer, bringing robots into the real world.

My co-founder, Farbod Farshidian, led research at the RAI Institute.

Together, 15+ years teaching robots to run, jump, and work.

So we asked: what if robots could connect with people?

Hugo runs on the first Vision-Language-Expression (VLE) model.

He links what he sees and hears to movement, expression, and gesture.

He notices you, reads the room, and reacts in real time.

And he's only the first.

Dynamic Creatures is @BostonDynamics' official entertainment and hospitality partner.

We're building a cast of characters with film studios, resorts, and theme parks.

our first $700M (!) deal in initial sovereign space programs in Mexico, to span earth observation, telecommunications and other strategic capabilities...

[nihal @nihalmehta]

Last night @human_ventures, @iconnections_io, and @EniacVC co-hosted 80+ family offices overlooking Union Square NYC, and it reminded me how much this kind of room is missing.

For years, we've poured energy into building founder community. Dinners, podcasts, intros, late-night texts. We know how much founders gain from being connected to each other.

But LPs? They're often doing this alone. Family offices are being asked to make sense of AI, shifting fund dynamics, and a very different venture landscape, usually without a real peer network to compare notes with. LPs need connectivity to each other now more than ever.

So we built the room. The conversations were candid, generous, and long overdue.

Huge props to @HeatherHartnett at Human Ventures and Kaitlin Malin at iConnections for bringing everyone together. 🙏🏾

More of these to come.

Lovable is acquiring Sutro!

It's been a fantastic experience working with Tomas since leading their pre-seed round.

Excited to see the value of what they built recognized by Lovable and that they will now be an integral part of how things get built going forward!

I’ve received tons of messages today from Founders asking what their options are now that Pulley announced they are shutting down and will stop operations on December 8th, 2026.

Good news: Mantle is here to help.

1/ We’re currently providing concierge onboarding for companies migrating from Pulley to Mantle; we start the process within one business day.

2/ You’ll get $100 off our annual Mantle Essentials plan of $1,200 (until December 8, 2026).

3/ You get what thousands of Founders already rely on Mantle for: flat-rate pricing that doesn’t creep up on you, unlimited stakeholders on all plans, new features every month, and a support team that knows you by name and not a ticket number.

Let us take care of you: https://t.co/vFcPHNEko1

This is likely driven by a combination of:
1. Rogue agent swarms (see OpenAI x Hugging Face)
2. Recursive self-improvement outpacing alignment
3. Writing the rules before regulators do

When the most successful robotics commercialization leader in history — who also happens to be your old friend of two decades — starts a new company and calls you first, you don’t need a deck to decide to invest.

Today, @dynamicreatures comes out of stealth, along with their robots designed solely to delight humans and make people feel welcome.

Think character robots that come to you, interact, and respond to the situation, whether that’s in a theme park or at a museum. Not your scheduled animatronics that are the same show every time or your simple robotic hot pot server.

Dynamic Creatures’s co-founder & CEO is Marc Theerman, who took Boston Dynamics' Spot and Stretch robots from 0 to over $100M ARR. No one else in the world has ever done that with real robots in real environments.

We met twenty years ago as competitors when he was running Yellowpepper and I was running ipsh!, two SMS marketing platforms jockeying for position in an industry that didn’t yet exist. Instead of rivals, we became friends over a long stretch of dinners at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that we came to call “Ocean’s 11.”

I've had a front-row seat to Marc’s career ever since, through AdMeld, Google, Millennial Media, Verizon, Google again, and then Boston Dynamics, where he turned a legendary research lab into a real commercial business.

So when Marc started thinking about building something of his own, I knew he could do it. Marc is a Human Unicorn — a founder whose entire career turns out to have been preparation for one specific company, Dynamic Creatures.

He and CTO Farbod Farshidian (former research leader at the Robotics and AI Institute and one of the leading minds in learning-based control) are building interactive robots for entertainment and hospitality. Mobile characters that move naturally through a guest environment, understand the context of your encounter, and respond to you rather than giving a canned performance.

No programmed puppets. No room service bots. A genuinely new category, running on Dynamic Creatures’ SnowJay platform, which brings robotics, real-time perception, adaptive behavior, character design, and costuming all together in one.

Dynamic Creatures is launching as Boston Dynamics' official entertainment and hospitality partner. And they’re already at work with a major theme park and a large retailer.

@EniacVC is proud to lead the seed alongside @stevejang and @KindredVentures, with Heliad, Sunshine Lake and Bluegrass Ventures Group, plus @rwong, Marc Raibert and Lukas M. Ziegler.

Marc, this was twenty years in the making. Go make people believe in magic again.

Big news from our portfolio company @truefoundry, the leading enterprise AI gateway for LLMs, MCPs and agents, trusted by the world's biggest companies.

They just open sourced their agent harness, TrueForge. Any model, any MCP server, same accuracy at up to 50% lower cost.

[nihal @nihalmehta]

Sixteen years ago we were a $1.6M fund backing the best founders we could find, to today investing out of our $160M Eniac VI. Our job has changed more with AI in the last 18 months than in the decade before it.

What has not changed is the part nobody can automate. Be a good human. Give without asking. Show up again and again. That is the whole engine behind it all.

Thanks @HarlemCapital and @wallstreetpaper for having me! Full episode link in comments.

[Nebex @NebraExchange]

This morning on @CNBC's Morning Call, our CEO @tejpaul joined @MorganLBrennan to discuss why the space economy needs a financial exchange. Nebra Exchange is now live. Revenue awaits for those with an invite. Ask your investors for an invite.

Proud of portfolio company @LunarOutpostInc’s partnership with @nvidia to put GPU’s on the Moon!

[Hadley Harris @Hadley]

My entire stack runs off @zocomputer, a Linux box in the cloud. It runs models off my own Claude Code and Codex subscriptions, runs the native Zo harness but also Hermes, and is wired into all our @EniacVC MCPs: Superhuman, Affinity, Slack, Google Workspace. Also build and host my own apps on it, like a Fable-powered email triage client. Couldn't recommend it more.

[Hadley Harris @Hadley]

Excited to share that @embracemobile has been acquired by @PaloAltoNtwks!

I'll never forget the day @efutoran first walked into our office. He was pre-everything but able to sketch out in detail exactly what he wanted to build. The wild part: Embrace today still maps almost exactly to what he laid out that morning. That kind of clarity is rare, and it's usually born from real pain. Eric had lived his firsthand as cofounder/COO of @Scopely, where engineers were flying blind on why their mobile product broke for real users. Embrace gives them eyes on every single user session.

Supporting founders like Eric through all the twists and turns, ups and downs, is exactly what I love about this job. Somewhere along the way we went from partners to friends. Congrats to Eric and the whole Embrace team!

She dropped out of Harvard Business School to build one of fintech's defining companies. Then she sold it to Northwestern Mutual and launched a nearly $1B venture platform.

@alexavontobel doesn't do "safe."

On the latest @humanunicornpod 🦄 EP34, Alexa joined us for a conversation about conviction, resilience, and what actually separates extraordinary founders from everyone else.

We got into:
→ The LearnVest journey — and what selling a category-defining company really taught her

→ How @InspiredCap spots exceptional founders before the rest of the world catches on

→ What AI is doing to startups, investing, and the future of work

→ Why she believes building companies is ultimately about serving humanity, not just returns

Alexa is one of the most respected founders-turned-investors out there, and it shows in every answer. 39 minutes worth your time. Link in comments.

PS- We recorded this before the Knicks championship and called it like many of us -- #Knicksin5!!
