I bet some very authoritarian countries force their people to sing national anthem or show respect to the flag.

The argument that anthem = freedom is bogus. I live in a country (Swiss) with plenty of freedom, and the anthem is an afterthought

@richards_mike @realStanVG Plenty of freedom where I live in Switzerland! The only time during the year that we play our national anthem is during our « independence day » on August 1st. Not playing the anthem before EVERY games of an 82 games season will not make you forget your « freedom »
