@PoorSinner13@GigaBasedDad Russia isn’t orthodox. At least not really. The 1872 Council of Constantinople declared Phyletism heresy. So not only the Russian „Orthodox“ Church is schismatic but it is also heretical. They are as Orthodox as Gnostics Christian or Sedevacantists Catholic.
@Plato62427481@CedarsAndSaints Catholic baptisms are considered Trinitarian like Orthodox. However have you noticed how the Catholic church invalidates Baptisms for the simple use of the incorrect pronoun. I mean it’s bizarre that’s God‘s saving grace is not from faith but rather earthly semantic legalism.
@Plato62427481@CedarsAndSaints Another American (or Pakistani running the account all I know) who felt so entitled to a opinion on a matter they clearly know so little about. That’s not how the EOC works. I agree it is only the puppet Ecumenical Patriarch that wants reunite with your heretical woke church.
@Plato62427481@CedarsAndSaints 1439 Council of Florence? You clearly forget the context and that it is void after widespread rejection. Also it was signed under extreme duress. the Council was not accepted by the entire church and „all bishops“ as St Mark of Ephesus refused to sign it.
@Plato62427481@CedarsAndSaints It seems I angered a ton of heretical Catholics. Well I also have a problem with papal infallibility and supremacy (a first among equals is permissible), Immaculate Conception, Indulgences, Purgatory, Azymes, Transubstantiation, etc…
@PoorSinner13@GigaBasedDad I am literally a Orthodox Finn. Technically my paternal grandparents are from Russia, but I digress. Interesting how the ad hominems keep coming.
@PoorSinner13@GigaBasedDad I am sure you have some grievances. But if you were to articulate them better maybe I would be more convinced. Alas, this is not the case
