@FMwenge Sadly, long term planning rarely wins votes. When many people are struggling to afford mealie meal, immediate concerns will always outweigh projects that take 10–12 years and billions to deliver. Vital as they may be, future benefits are a hard sell in the face of present needs.
@WolfRMFC The owners are easily able to get the city to pay hundreds to millions towards the stadium construction cost, which just doesn't happen in Europe. I think only 3 NFL stadiums were built without direct public funds.
@WolfRMFC That’s our engine. But he’s also an example of what’s gone wrong at Real. Over the last 2–3 years, almost every player has either stagnated or regressed individually.
As good as he already is, it still feels like there’s another level he hasn’t reached yet.
@WolfRMFC This team struggles defensively, injuries over the years have clearly taken their toll. We’re missing a true playmaker in midfield. We don’t consistently control or dominate games in midfield. Selling Vini or Mbappé won’t solve those underlying issues.
Definitely not tech roles. They will give you a live coding test. On a shared screen. With 3 engineers watching in silence. No Google. No ChatGPT. Just you and your lies.
@FMwenge I hate that these "African" pages just spew inaccuracies. Ghana has actively been working with both the IMF and World Bank since 2023. They are literally in the IMF programme at the moment. And of course, no source is given on what this "decision" was.
