It's actually really useful for boys to get it too. Don't forget that HPV is associated with head and neck cancer too (along with penile cancer), and it helps decrease the spread in general

We sadly announce the death of Dr Charles Armstrong Lyn , who passed away on March 25, 2025. He was a revered and distinguished Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon.
He was a Consultant ENT Surgeon at the Kingston Public Hospital, where he has been a diligent and skillful ENT Surgeon and committed team leader. Phillip was passionate about helping prepare many ENT residents in training.

Dr Phillip Brown was a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mona MBBS and DM porgrammes 2004 and 2015 respectively. He was the current serving Ex Officio Member of the Jamaica Association of Otolaryngologists - Head and Neck Surgeons.
