It’s a discussion. The job of the moderator is to make sure people are given adequate time to respond and speak.

@ArnoldMoger THAT is why you can have a "Near Mint" card that's off center and gets a 7. The card can look as beautiful as the day it was pulled, but if those corners have an alignment dot or a corner is angular instead of rounded, that thing is getting a grade lower than a 10.

The grading scale is the condition of the card along with the quality of the image, centering, paint job, errors, etc.
