Congratulations to Joshua on successfully completing the @RBVECharity's LifeWorks residential course as he prepares for his transition from the @MercianRegiment into civilian employment.
Joshua attended the course following his recent discharge from the @BritishArmy and is now settling into life at Entrain Space, taking positive steps towards his future career and independence.
A special thank you goes to Gary Woodford for making the referral process smooth and seamless, ensuring Joshua received the right support at the right time.
We are proud to support veterans on their journey into civilian life and look forward to seeing what the future holds for Joshua.👏

It's @VolunteersWeek and Growing for Wellbeing Week @GYOWellbeingWk and we wanted to give a big shout out to Mark, one of our residents and a @royalartillery1 veteran, who has been very generously volunteering his time to help with gardening and grounds maintenance projects around Entrain Space.
Using his professional landscaping and gardening skills, Mark is transforming a number of our shared outdoor spaces. Importantly, he describes gardening as his therapy and a place where he can find peace in nature to switch off from the pressures of everyday life.
Thank you Mark for your great work. 🌱 .

A pleasure to welcome Jo, Employment Consultant from @PoppyFactory, to Entrain Space last week to discuss strengthening the employment support available to our resident veterans.
We explored how this could work, including regular visits to deliver one-to-one sessions covering skills assessments, CV writing, job searching, interview preparation, LinkedIn profiles, training opportunities and access to employment-related funding.
Creating pathways into meaningful employment is a huge part of a successful transition from military service. We welcome the opportunity to have The Poppy Factory join our network of partner organisations committed to delivering regular on-site support at Entrain Space.

We want to thank the incredible team at @VETERANSCHARITY for providing immediate support for one of our new residents who arrived at very short notice this week after spending two weeks living in his car.
Support was arranged within just 15 minutes of us reaching out, including food vouchers, bedding and even a takeaway for his first evening here.
Moments like this show the real impact of organisations coming together to support veterans when they need it most. It was also a powerful reminder of how small acts of kindness can make a huge difference during difficult times.

This month we welcomed two new move-ins to Entrain Space: a veteran who served 26 years the @royalartillery1 in the @BritishArmy, and a @RoyalAirForce veteran who served for 9 years. We are delighted to be able to support them as they begin their journeys at Entrain Space.
Throughout the month we engaged with events and meetings with military welfare teams and partners including @Cobseo, the Army Welfare Service, Career Transition Partnership, @RoyalTankRegt and The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust; the RNBT joining our multi-agency partnership to deliver regular onsite support for our resident @RoyalNavy veterans. We also connected Liam from @DigWaterloo with our veterans.
Other highlights included the team attending the @ArmyBenFund's Big Curry Lunch in Salisbury, and Kenny attending the Employer Day hosted by @BritishArmy Commander South West, Col Jim Bird, at Okehampton Camp during the annual Ten Tors challenge, which brought together organisations such as @atkinsrealis while providing a great insight into the work of the @ArmyCadetsUK and the Ten Tors event itself.
Finally, we welcomed baby Hudson to Entrain Space! 💙 Congratulations to our residents on their gorgeous new arrival.

We’re delighted to be selected as one of the local causes supported by Wilton Community Carnival.
Thank you to everyone who helps make this event such a success year after year, including volunteers from our own team and resident veterans.
Support like this helps us continue delivering housing, employment, and community support for veterans and service leavers as they transition to civilian life.
We're looking forward to being part of another fantastic Wilton Carnival this July! 🚀

Matthew and Kenny attended the @Cobseo Housing Cluster Meeting in London yesterday, joining organisations from across the sector to strengthen collaboration around housing support for the #veteran community.
These meetings are an important opportunity to share knowledge, discuss challenges across the sector and ensure veterans continue to receive informed and effective support. It also allows Entrain Space to stay connected with national conversations around veteran housing provision and best practice.

Great to welcome Kev Bell from @TheRNBT for his first visit as part of our multi-agency partner network.
Some of our residents already know Kev from his previous work with the @RNRMC, so it’s brilliant to see that trusted support continue and grow.
Kev will now be delivering regular on-site support for our @RoyalNavy and @RoyalMarines #veterans, further widening the support available at Entrain Space for those who’ve served.

We wanted to say a big 'well done" to Amy, a @BritishArmy#veteran and Entrain Space resident, on securing a new role as a Teaching Assistant at Pembroke Park Primary School & Nursery, supporting children with special educational needs.
This is a brilliant next step and a reflection of her real commitment, patience, and care for working with young people who need additional support to thrive.
Wishing Amy every success in this new life chapter! 👏

At Entrain Space, supporting mental wellbeing isn’t just for one week of the year, it’s at the heart of everything we do. From a friendly chat over a brew to signposting the right support, we’re here for our residents and our veterans community every single day.
This week, be kind to yourself. Whatever you’re carrying, however big or small, your feelings are valid and you deserve support. Reach out, speak up, and remember you are never as alone as you feel.
Talk. Listen. Be kind. 💚

On Sunday, Kenny represented Entrain Space at an Employer Day and lunch at Okehampton Camp, hosted by Col Jim Bird, @BritishArmy Commander South West.
The day provided an opportunity to engage with employers including @atkinsrealis and discuss the value that veterans, service leavers and cadets can bring to the workplace. The transferable skills developed through military and cadet experiences continue to be highly valuable
across many industries.
The visit was also on the last day of the Ten Tors and provided a real insight into the scale, planning and dedication behind one of the South West’s most recognised endurance events for young people. Seeing the level of teamwork, resilience, leadership and determination involved showed exactly why the challenge continues to have such a positive impact on thousands of participants each year. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the Army cadet force @ArmyCadetsUK and the confidence and life skills it helps develop from a young age.
Thank you Col Jim, we’d love you to come and visit Entrain Space and see the work we are doing to help service leavers and #veterans transition successfully into civilian life. #EntrainSpace #VeteransSupport #TenTors
We came together in our café space to mark #VEDay with our resident veterans, taking time to reflect and remember what this day represents.
For Entrain Space this is an important opportunity to honour those who served and to recognise the lasting impact their service continues to have on generations today.
#EntrainSpace #VeteransSupport #VEDay
Today we remember Victory in Europe Day, still honouring the bravery, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served, fought, and lived through one of history’s defining moments. Their courage shaped the peace we cherish today, and their legacy continues to inspire us all.

Kenny, Kelli and Josh thoroughly enjoyed the @ArmyBenFund's Big Curry Lunch in Salisbury's historic Guild Hall yesterday!
A great opportunity for the team to connect with others across the community while supporting the fantastic charitable work the ABF does for soldiers, veterans and their families.

Thanks to Vanya, Integration Manager from @ReedPartnership for inviting us to present at the monthly 'Lunch and Learn' for colleagues from the Career Transition Partnership @CTPinfo and Armed Forces Working Group on Friday.
Matthew and Kenny delivered an online briefing plus Q&A about Entrain Space to professionals from across the employment resettlement sector. This was a great opportunity to highlight our work supporting service leavers and veterans into civilian life and sustainable employment, and a chance to make valuable new connections to strengthen outcomes for our veterans.

It was great to catch up with Gill McManus from @RoyalTankRegt at Entrain Space on Thursday and to meet her colleagues, Unit Welfare Officers Corporal Darren Clunn and Captain Colin Russell.
Thank you to Gill for the introductions and the continued support for our RTR veterans, we appreciate the opportunity to strengthen an already positive working relationship.

Welcome to the world baby Hudson! 💙 Huge congratulations to our Entrain Space residents Jamsie and Beth on their gorgeous new arrival. The team have been queuing up for cuddles, Kelli got there first (and may never give him back) 😅 Sending all the love to the new little family!
Happy May Day and have a good Bank Holiday Weekend.

This month we welcomed a new resident to Entrain Space who had previously served with @LANCS_REGT in the @BritishArmy.
Other highlights are our meetings with several military welfare teams, including visits from the @ChurchillsOwn and @RoyalTankRegt, and attending the @ArmyHIVEinfo coffee morning with the Garrison teams at Tidworth.
In the community, we attended Wilton Town Council meetings, made our spaces available for first aid training for community groups, and supported a charity event at Wilton Fire Station in aid of @firefighters999 and the Wilton Carnival.
Thank you to all our partners and visitors for contributing to another strong month at Entrain Space.

Thanks to Charlotte, Unit Welfare Officer from 6th Battalion, @Official_REME, for inviting Entrain Space to the @ArmyHIVEinfo's coffee morning last week at Ordnance House, Tidworth.
The event brought Army welfare members together from Tidworth Garrison to share updates, strengthen partnerships, and discuss the support available to serving personnel and their families. Kenny attended on behalf of our team, and took the opportunity to provide more information about our work to support #veterans and service leavers as part of the Armed Forces community.

Great to see Ally Walker, the outgoing Unit Welfare Officer from @ChurchillsOwn, this time visiting with Captain Sean Blakley, the newly appointed UWO, to make introductions.
It was a pleasure to meet Sean and we look forward to working with him to continue supporting QRH service leavers coming to Entrain Space.
We wish Ally all the best in his new role and thank him for his hard work and commitment... the kettle is always on if you'd like a brew! ☕️
