I've been to every continent, but Rwanda's homegrown solutions, such as Umushyikirano, are consistently the finest.
Today, I loved H.E Paul Kagame's comment to @DrSenait's view regarding certain leaders who may delay making decisions and use the 'fear to fail or make mistakes' as an excuse, stating that leaders should instead dread the consequences of doing nothing/delaying things.
All countries deserve a national dialogue like Umushyikirano, in which leaders are held accountable for their acts and citizens have the opportunity to ask and get responses from their leaders. #Umushyikirano2024 #RwOT 🇷🇼
They say life’s work is never done. This was a moment that reminded me I’m on the right track. Receiving an honour from Her Majesty was truly the greatest honour. Meeting the other young leaders and friends I made along the way was the experience of my life. Utterly humbled.

@magattew Exactly. The West should stop treating Africa like it desperately needs their help. This is patronizing nonsense.
Frankly, my observation is that the average happiness in a village in Africa is higher than the average happiness in Beverly Hills!
@XandrineUmutoni An excellent comment Minister of State, around creatives understanding more the language of finance and financiers understand the language of creatives. If this nexus comes together, the future is so certainly bright.
To the young people of #Rwanda, being young is not enough. You cannot afford to waste any opportunity. Do not let the fear of failure or taking risks stand in the way of who you can be. Claim your rightful place in the world, no one will hand it to you

Today we remember Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on what would have been her 100th birthday.
We honour her legacy as Head of the Commonwealth, marked by over 70 years of devoted service to the people of the Commonwealth.
“I declare before you all that my whole life whether it be long or short shall be devoted to your service.”
On her 21st birthday in 1947, Queen Elizabeth II pledged to devote her life to the service of her people. She remained true to her word – undertaking official duties up until her final days.
Tomorrow would have been her 100th birthday. Ahead of events to mark the anniversary, we look back on Her late Majesty’s life and work.
