Calling #Blacks and #Dalits “drugged with victimhood” is not just deeply offensive, it is intellectually bankrupt, dangerously racist & casteist. It insults the memory of #RohithVemula, #PayalTadvi, #GeorgeFloyd, and every single person who was humiliated because of race & caste.

The sweeping generalisation that entire communities of Blacks and Dalits are “drugged with victimhood” is casteist-racist rhetoric. Statement by the VC is a direct assault on Article 17.
