Staged encounter by security forces raises serious concerns, with the victim allegedly stripped & dressed in different clothing to falsely portray him as a militant. The Kuki community will not tolerate such abuse of authority, manipulation of evidence, and gross misuse of power.
Today in Leilon Vaiphei incident, when COBRA Team, CRPF, and BSF came and arrested Kuki village volunteers who guard their ancestral villages from NSCN-IM, ZUF-K, Kamson Group, Myanmar Meitei Militants, Shan National Army, and Junta Military, the Kuki women tried to stop the arrest. Unfortunately, COBRA Team and Central Forces fired towards Kuki civilian women present there.
This is the reason why Central Forces always have the right to shoot and use force against Kuki civilians, while completely ignoring Tangkhul community, Liangmai Milong, and Meitei Meira Paibis whenever they throw stones towards them. They are only strong against Kuki civilians.
While COBRA Team and Central Forces were carrying out these actions, some people from the Central Forces allegedly informed NSCN-IM, ZUF-K, Kamson Group, Myanmar Meitei Militants, Shan National Army, and Junta Military to come and burn villages again. They have now reached the Leilon Vaiphei area to start burning Kuki ancestral villages again.
This is how the Government of India, Central Forces, and BJP Government treat the Kuki Community. Let the United Nations and the world's largest democratic institutions address our demands, as COBRA Team and Central Forces are helping NSCN-IM, ZUF-K, Kamson Group, Shan National Army, and Junta Military who come from Burma under the protection of Tangkhul CSOs and Tangkhul pastors in the border areas.
The Kuki Community demands neutral Central Forces who stand for peace. Many COBRA Team and Central Force personnel are actively supporting NSCN-IM, ZUF-K, Kamson Group, and armed groups from the Myanmar side. This is the reason Kuki ancestral villages continue to face attacks and many Kuki civilians have died in ambushes.

Disturbing reports from Henglep Sub-Division, CRPF (Cobra) opened fire and used explosives against village volunteers on guard duty near Songkong village, Dated: 16-06-2026, resulting in the death of Mr Lenminsang of Kolchung village. Reports further claim that his body was taken away, raising serious concerns about an attempted cover up and the possibility of a fake encounter narrative. These allegations cannot be ignored. A transparent, independent investigation must be conducted immediately, and anyone found responsible must be held accountable. Justice for Lenminsang!!

Security forces must not mirror the conduct of militants.
This behavior has no place in a disciplined army.
What occurred was an act of violence.
It violates public trust

Out of the Budget of Rs. 53,50,00,00,00,000 CRORES, victims of #Manipur Violence got a big fat ZERO.
But sure, let's bring back the "popular" #BJP Govt. back. Popular for what exactly ? Ignoring victims and people who need help for more than 3 years !?

Dear Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi,
I, on behalf of the entire Kuki-Zo community, would like to wish you a Happy National Voters' Day.
Hon'ble Prime Minister @narendramodi, on this auspicious occasion, I would like to draw your attention to a matter of grave concern. Kindly go through this footage; you'll notice how Meitei terrorists proudly explain how they butchered and cut off Kuki-Zo community members' body parts (hands). "After cutting off our hands to vote, how do we exercise our fundamental rights?". The last remain is still untraceable
I hereby request your good office to punish the culprits, former CM @NBirenSingh and MP Leishemba Sanajaoba @MaharajaManipur immediately, along with their private militia, Arambai Tenggol.
Please remove the words "coexistence" and "peace" from your dictionary. We are totally separated physically, mentally, emotionally, politically, and geographically. We will never live together under the same administration.

We strongly condemn the tragic and untimely death of our beloved sister/daughter who was just an innocent girl with simple life and simple needs. This heartbreaking loss is not just a personal tragedy for the bereaved family, but a grave injustice that wounds the collective conscience of our society.
The circumstances leading to her death demand immediate, transparent and impartial investigation, and those responsible must be held fully accountable under the law. Silence, delay, or indifference in the face of such loss only deepens the suffering and perpetuates injustice.
We stand in solidarity with the grieving family and loved ones and we reiterate our call for justice, dignity, and the protection of human life, especially for vulnerable women and communities. Such tragedies must not be allowed to fade into statistics—they must lead to accountability and meaningful change.
