Amazon FBA October recap:

- Hit 6k+ profit 2 months in a row.
- More units sold
- Higher ROI

Although all those are good things here's the challenges:
- Hit with IP complaint
- Amex credit limiting me
- Didn't beat last months profit

I pretty much send them everything, including the back-and-forth emails that I had with Greyscout, as well as the invoice, shipping proof, and the correct amount of units. Greyscout haven't said no to removing the IP. They just took quite a while to respond after I had given the correct details.

The IP complaint that I got was from Grayscale and the invoice that I do have matches the brand name and the quantity, etc. They're just giving me a bit of a hard time.

Amazon had declined my invoices that I sent them on numerous occasions. As much as I was giving them different documents every single time, it was, unfortunately, unsuccessful.

I've come to a stage now where I have been emailing Grayscale. They did actually get back to me with a half-decent reply although, recently, they haven't given me any responses. That is why it is very important for you to have the right invoices, not to be buying products from just absolutely anywhere, to do your due diligence, and make sure that the supply you're buying from is a legitimate one.

@izraels98 Yeah that makes sense. With everything, though, human nature means it doesn't ever stop there. We are greedy by nature so as soon as we hit that £10,000-a-month mark, we will end up wanting £15,000, £20,000, and so on and so on.

What is it with this obsession of making 10k a month?

What is it about that number that makes people strive towards that kind of figure? In reality most people don't even need to make 10k a month.

So it seems like this time of year American Express like to limit people's cards, predominantly because, at this time of year, people are spending a lot more money than usual (which must flag up on their system). Has anyone else been affected by this?

@shane_barker Yeah it just kind of seems like a clout-chase number: just to prove that you have hit a milestone of being established or, in some sense, having a sense of authority, knowing that you are in a relatively small percentage

@_matt_1 That would all depend on the margins you are working on, expenses you have eg. Subs and prep etc would then determine the gross that you would need

@maxtalksmoney Yeah that's fair enough. It's not even just related to Amazon. It's the general consensus of whatever you do that everyone wants to do a 10K month of income, which I don't really understand why, because for the vast majority of people they don't even need that kind of money.

Don't get me wrong. When I first started my business my first goal was 1k a month, then 5k a month, now 10k a month, and then I will strive towards higher figures. But it just seems to me that everyone wants a 10k-a-month income to live on.
