Update: I was unsuccessful and to say I am devastated is an understatement. I've been working on my CV since 2018 when this job was last advertised and I saved the PD. Not really sure how to continue in my career anymore.

@drianwright I have applied for the role so I have my fingers crossed! I really want to protect the beautiful catchment i call home. We have recently discovered koalas returning to our dam catchment following the bushfires which is super exciting!

I've recently been running the sampling component of a Pollution Reduction Program for one of our EPLs and it's so rewarding. I love getting back out in the field, even when it's pouring rain and muddy. Here is Terrigal Lagoon yesterday 🌊⛱

Today I completed the first half of the Data Science for Water Professionals under the wonderful guidance of @lucidmanager. I had used R back in my MRes but reverted to Excel. This refresher of R and using it on industry "real world" data is a game changer when learning stats 📊
