@leafsnlifts Also one should look at the context of the injury. If he had a concussion from a hit in a game then no one should make light or joke about it, however when one injures themselves with a steak knife during a team dinner....nuff said
@Mentii Entire Coaching Staff should be embarrassed with tonight’s performance. Team completely undisciplined and unprepared.
Harbaugh schooled them tonight.
@leafsnlifts@OgiOgilthorp We live rent free in their brains. Leafs don't make the playoffs and the rest of the hockey world can't stop talking about them. 😂
@leafsnlifts It's kinda sad but essentially NFL players are treated much more like easily transferrable commodities. Mist likely due to the fact that many of the contracts are not guaranteed so as soon as a player looks bad a team can move on without much of a financial hit.
@leafsnlifts Yeah the NFL is crazy in that a team trades a starting top player and only gets a 2nd or 3rd round pick for them. In hockey if you trade one of your top starters you could get easy 2 or 3 top end draft picks/prospects in return.
@leafsnlifts 100%, the NFL has such a large roster of players that they can't put as much weight on each individual pick. Also it's not as uncommon in football for a player picked in later rounds to hit their peak a couple of seasons in and make a roster. That rarely happens in the NHL.
@leafsnlifts SJ could use a Dman and might make sense for them to trade down a spot or two and pick one up while bolstering up with another pick from their trading partner.
