If I had a Lightning Lane for every time I’ve gotten evacuated off of Dinosaur (Disney World) and Indy (Disneyland) I’d have 2 Lightning Lanes. Which is not a lot, but it’s funny that it has happened twice

As of 6:00pm EST, Six Flags America (Bowie, MD) is officially permanently closed 😢

The park will be remembered by fans and coaster enthusiasts, as the park that the Cedar Fair and Six Flags merger killed. ❌

But most importantly, it will be remembered by the memories that were made here. The ones that will last a lifetime with family and friends.

DEVELOPING: The end might be coming sooner than thought at Six Flags America

The park has removed all Fright Fest hours from their schedule making the final day of operation September 1st, 2025.

We really hope this isn’t the case, but Six Flags just canceled Michigans Adventures Halloween Event this year. So it’s very likely that this isn’t an error at all.

Today marks Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary! 📅

The park opened on July 17th, 1955. It has created memories for hundreds of millions in its history. The park also marked the beginning of modern theme parks across the globe.
