BREAKING: Congress Moves to Mandate National Photo ID for Federal Elections

The House Administration Committee just advanced H.R. 9368 (The Voter ID Act), establishing a strict national photo ID mandate for casting ballots in federal elections.
The Breakdown:
• The Mandate: In-person voters must present a valid driver's license, passport, or military/tribal ID. Mail-in voters must enclose a physical photocopy of their ID or supply a Social Security affidavit.
• The Opposition: Committee Democrats, led by Ranking Member Joe Morelle, aggressively opposed the bill. They argue it targets young, rural, and Native voters by explicitly banning student IDs and any tribal or firearm permits that lack a physical expiration date.
Our Take:
At Unite4Freedom, we remain locked in the fight to ensure that only eligible, legal citizen voters participate in our federal elections.

Mandatory photo ID is an encouraging step forward, but our hard data proves it is not a complete cure-all. Based on our analysis of 35 states so far, the systematic issues running through voter registries run much deeper than a simple flash of an ID at the ballot box.

It's real progress - but the fight for absolute election validity continues.
