Watching open heart surgery this week and scrubbed in at the operating table while bringing a patient back from essentially dead has probably been the most badass and terrifying thing I've been a part of like...ever.

Am stepping in the OR this week and will be actually helping in surgery. Hopeful I don't get yelled at, jk probably will and will cry in public but let's get it anyway, Yeet!!

Yesterday while taking a patient history in the hospital patient began talking to the nurse tech about me in Spanish and I interrupted in Spanish to tell them I understood what they were saying and he went back to English real quick.

Thankful for my friends outside of grad school who are always overcoming challenges and reminding me to keep excuses to a minimum. These brats in my grad program are really hurting my soul right now with their never ending projection of negativity. It's so toxic and draining.
