🔧 Never stop building.
At Illuvium, every detail gets the fine-tooth-comb treatment to deliver the best possible experience.
👀 Peek the new menu WIP — cleaner, faster, and built for explorers.
We’re just getting started.
🚨 Quick PSA regarding the Unified fuel and conversion. 🚨
As far as I can tell, any fuel you spend now, will not be eligible for claiming the ETH refund (details to follow very soon).
It seems likely that claiming the refund then re-buying fuel with that ETH will be way more cost efficient if you are still interested in participating in the Illuvium ecosystem.
Do not jump the gun on any purchasing or decisions in the next 2 days in my personal opinion.
Okay now you've got my attention. If they use all the space provided on these maps, I definitely can see the same sense of progression as Elwynn Forest. Scatter in some crash survivors in need for quests, randomized loot, rewards for exploration... I see you @illuviumio
Just finished a meeting with the new Game Directors of Overworld.
Wow am I pumped.
"We have so much stuff to work with and reuse, plus the storyline only needs a little tweaking, I believe we can get something out faster than the community think".
LFG.
@HarvestingFrog@illuviumio Speculating. The pivot to an MMO Lite is a good play. Adds life to the emptiness of the maps (my biggest complaints). Provide the story we were promised, give me a reason to come back run after run, and make catching an illuvial the tangible feel of a real world asset.
@HarvestingFrog@illuviumio I hear you, but let's say this is just a junp off point. And let's say you can expand the maps, add non-linear progression expanding out from the center of every map, add story content, boss battle, gated barriers to overcome, and make it a fun gameplay loop...

Complete Custom IP Ecosystem
Years of World-Building, Ready for Any Genre
The team has fully developed a rich custom IP, including high-poly/low-poly models, an exhaustive library of environment assets, high-quality animations for the Ranger & Illuvials, Morphopods, as well as unique VFX, SFX, Music & more!
With unique regions and world-building elements, the asset library is extensive enough to support multiple games across various genres. This level of ready-to-use, proprietary content is unmatched in Web3 gaming, positioning the project for rapid development and creative freedom.
Streamlined Team for Delivery
From World-Building to Game-Building
The recent reduction in headcount, especially from the Art and ancillary teams, signals major milestones: the art, world-building, and infrastructure are largely complete. The shift towards a lean, engineer-focused team (90% senior engineers) means full focus is now on game development. With assets in hand and processes refined, the project is primed for efficient delivery, accelerating time-to-market for games that may strike a greater cord with the existing community, such as Breach or similar fast-paced, casual titles.
Mature Multiplayer Infrastructure
Scalable, Tested, and Ready for Action
The project’s multiplayer infrastructure has been built with scalability and performance at its core. After years of development and rigorous testing, we're about to get a major infrastructure update ensuring systems are stable, secure, and capable of supporting large-scale player bases across multiple games. This mature backend ensures smooth gameplay experiences, efficient matchmaking, and seamless cross-game integration. With the heavy lifting already done, the team can focus on delivering engaging multiplayer experiences without worrying about foundational tech—giving the project a massive leg-up against competitors in the Web3 space.
Illuvium Arena Nearing Full v1 Release
One Milestone Down, Full Focus Ahead
Illuvium Arena is on the brink of a fully featured v1 release (EO April), marking a major achievement for the team. With core gameplay, features, and polish nearly complete, the Arena will soon require minimal ongoing development. This milestone frees up resources to shift full focus to the ambitious MMO-Lite. With the groundwork laid, the team can now accelerate progress on this expansive project, pushing the Illuvium ecosystem closer to its next major evolution.
Battle-Tested Leadership Team
Proven Resilience Through Market Cycles
The Admin Team—Kieran, Aaron, Danny, and Stuart—has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, successfully navigating the project through one of the harshest crypto bear markets in recent history. Over three challenging years, they’ve secured critical funding, maintained project momentum, and adapted to shifting market dynamics without compromising on vision or quality. Their proven track record in fundraising and resilience in volatile conditions is for me, undisputable, and having worked with each of the guys, I know the team are ready to thrive as the market turns.
Top-Tier Partnerships & Strategic Deals
Global Brands Backing the Vision
The project has secured numerous high-profile partnerships, cementing its reputation within gaming and Web3. Kieran has consistently proven his ability to strike deals with globally recognized brands, elevating the project’s visibility and credibility. These partnerships not only bring additional resources and exposure but also open doors for future collaborations, integrations, and marketing opportunities. I can attest to the fact that Kieran has hundreds of connections who are ready and willing to work with Illuvium.
Market Sentiment Can Shift Overnight
Game Maturity is the Ultimate Catalyst
In the world of gaming, market sentiment can pivot rapidly, especially as projects transition from development to delivery. As the games near maturity and key milestones are hit, the broader market will begin to take notice. What was once seen as undercooked suddenly becomes tangible, sparking renewed interest from players, investors, and partners alike. With polished, playable products on the horizon, it only takes one major release or moment to trigger a wave of positive momentum—rapidly shifting sentiment and positioning the project at the forefront of the next market upswing.
Strategic Hiring of Industry Veterans
Steven Clark & Trevor Huwe to Lead MMO-Lite Game Design
The hiring of Steven Clark and Trevor Huwe is a pivotal move, bringing seasoned industry expertise to lead game design for the highly anticipated MMO-Lite. Both bring extensive experience in game design and development, perfectly positioning them to shape the gameplay, systems, and overall player experience.
Commitment to Seamless Onboarding
Prioritizing Accessibility, Even If It Means Big Changes
The team remains fully committed to improving the onboarding experience, everyone agrees that the current state is absolutely fucked.
This commitment is so strong that the team has hinted at potentially shifting away from Immutable if it means providing a smoother, more intuitive onboarding process for the player. The ultimate goal is to create an ecosystem where anyone can jump in and play—without friction, complexity, or compromise and the Admin Team are well aware of this.
