@CANAL_RDS @EpicGames@FortniteForum@FortniteGame@Brasil_Fortnite Heya, sorry just saw this today. Checked with the UI team, have a fix for some of these cases in 7.20 (releasing tomorrow/today). Hopefully fixes you up, please let me know if it doesn't after the patch.
@Tarheel0416 That's some dedication! When we do have internships, we definitely make them paid though...interns contribute a lot too! Tricky bit of internships is we need to have people free to train/mentor interns too, so sometimes when crazy busy it's not always a good match.
@Rhydonal@nickchester@FortniteGame@EpicGames Yikes! Did you contact customer support? They would be the best equipped to know. I'll also see if I can find out, but I would start there.
@HostileAssets For actual hard skills, for our gameplay positions we generally want to see evidence of solid C++ knowledge/usage and existing work related to games.
@HostileAssets But really, can't stress the personality/attitude part enough...part of finding a new team member is hopefully finding someone who fits in, gets along well with the team, and is happy/excited to be there!
@HostileAssets For gameplay, we like our engineers to also have some design-sense, like the ability to break down why a game made the choices it did, why it succeeded/failed, why a mechanic works, etc. Generally want to feel like an applicant can contribute to making fun experiences for players
@HostileAssets Hmm, that one is tricky. For me personally, I predominantly look for people who have relevant experience but are also always willing to learn new things. I try to make sure applicants have an attitude that shows they know how to work with artists, designers, etc.
