@johnpavlovitz A slumber party of my teenage son and all his friends who are ALL vaccinated. It’s been a very long time in coming. May the weeks ahead lift your heart and spirits.
@ali_oats Tiresome sexism in this thread. Married for 21 years to a fantastic wife who is also an MD. We’ve both had to adjust as career professionals raising kids and it has been a blast.
@MarkCCrowley Can you PM a link to this research? I’m skeptical, honestly. I have a lot of clients who have bent over backwards to pay pandemic hardship pay, keep people working, and prioritize safety. What is this based on, employee satisfaction? A lot of learning happened in 2020.
@DocAtcheson@QaaliHussein1 I think we’re talking about different things. I hear culture and engagement. I was referring to dealing with one toxic employee. And my doctorate is in behavioral science, so I am glad you’re a fan!
@DocAtcheson@QaaliHussein1 I appreciate your optimism. After debriefing over a thousand 360s across levels of leadership, for the few most senior, they have little incentive to change unless they are personally impacted in some way. I agree negotiating that impact and providing data help. Hope will not.
@DocAtcheson@QaaliHussein1 Data shows 25% of people will ignore multi rater feedback, defend their practices, and not engage in the process. For this case, I don’t know it would have the intended impact.
@MarkCCrowley Our country is built on entrepreneurship. Businesses that don’t evolve and ask their leaders to think about the future will definitely struggle to transition. Thankfully they have us :)
Every once in a while, we witness exemplary leadership, commitment to excellence, and hard work that we all benefit from in society. Thank you #RBG God speed.
@MarkCCrowley Lest we not forget there are so many polarities in leadership. The system coaches leaders to be courageous and decisive and that doesn’t always include notions of compassion and interdependence.
