Leading by example - proven low carbon heating and cooling.
Smart thermal energy, whole system thinking - all down to earth.

Erda are growing! The furture of decarbonised heat is looking good and we need to expand our team. We are looking for Project Managers, prefferably with experiance in renewables but thats not essential. Head to our website for more details:

@TheGreenParty@CarolineLucas@theCCCuk You can show you care about climate change by signing the petition: https://t.co/WCW5tXmlrK
and encouraging everyone else to sign too.
@JohnCantor2 @theolodian @Edward_Thompson@rippin_ian@NickSalini @DeegeSolar efficiency has to matter otherwise we learn nothing from from our previous energy systems (gas...). Well managed systems can acheive more than 3.5 with consequential improvment in carbon content.
@chrisdunham70@MLiebreich@heatpolicyrich@janrosenow@DrSimEvans How is the relevant cost defined? If a client does not commit to the electrified system today (which can be priced...) what is the non-electric alternaitive which goes in the LCCA now, and how does the client make an informed choice?
Reviewed an LCCA today "burn stuff+chiller" conterfactual vs GSHP. Guess what - over 60 years "burn stuff+chiller" looks cheaper. Problem is - by y13 of 60y - the counterfactual is illegal!
Of course, LCCA places no value on carbon & same rediculous gas/elec cost for 60y but,
Achieving efficient #Heating and #Cooling is instrumental on our path towards #NetZero. Join @thecoolinghub's Annual Conference for courses and workshops & to hear from the industry leaders on how the #RACHP sector is already making it happen!

@wasteheatuser @ELPinchbeck Agree with Dave - our heat pump carbon content saving 83% over gas - already exceeding gov targets today. We could make masive in roads to the target with a simple policy switch - tax dirty fuel not clean fuel...
We should be battling climate change, not each other - but Erda Energy proud to be doing our part in the heat pump corner. 80%+ carbon savings today with satisfied & warm customers for over 10 years.

@Evonator We complety agree @Evonator - dynamic demand matched to dynamic consumption matched with dynamic carbon factors used to report *actual* emissions will help the debate and the industry to move forward. https://t.co/bJ1BlLMDae
@gasworksollie Fallacy of marginal emissions. Direct me please to gov document stating where a 7 year old heat pump in Scotland gets the carbon emmisons from coal?
Agree upstreaming emissions from buildings is a real scandal and should be made totally transparent. #onlyemitswater#biomass
Balance is our game too, and balance is incredibly important - even when the grid is at 300+ heat pumps can saving +75% carbon compared to gas, and on balance - last 12 months 84% lower than gas.
Again, in the interest of balance....the enduring role of molecules needed to balance generation. Easter Monday gets headlines, but this? And 100% renewable electricity tariffs?
Join us for our March coffee chat. Exec director @laurenlweston's guest will be James O'Hagan of @ErdaEnergy. We'll talk decarbonization of the built environment and ways tech can help us shift away from overconsumption. RSVP: https://t.co/GaFSDMyz5C #coffeehour @laurenlweston

Stop the clock... Helen G in your team @g__j has worked tirelessly to solve this. My smart meter is booked in and I am looking forward to a smarter and more cost effective future for your green electricity! #ev#heatpumps
@janrosenow@GreenAllianceUK lest we forget that Dr Robert Sansom is the creator (2014 thesis) of this infamous chart.... which made its way to the business cards of those selling gas boilers.

Now combine them all with #heatpumps run via #DSR (demand side response) when the electricity is plentiful, using #heat#battery#EnergyStorage on the output side storing heat ready to deliver all that #peak#heatkng.
Net result is you time-shift the demand from peak to average
