Megumi Ogata, the voice actress of Shinji Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion, is urging the Japanese government to act against AI voice cloning.

She finds it heartbreaking when AI copies her voice without permission and makes it say things she never said.

She says a voice is part of an actor’s identity and should not be copied or used for profit without consent

Guillaume Broche, director of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, believes linear RPGs are better at creating memorable characters.

In an interview with Automaton Media, he explained:
“With Japanese RPGs, you get a protagonist, you get the characters, and the story being told is quite linear.
I personally prefer this because I feel like it allows you to tell a stronger story and make more memorable characters.”

When developers don’t have to account for hundreds of player choices, they can spend more time building the characters and a story with stronger emotional impact.

Sony CFO Lin Tao says player backlash over PlayStation ending physical disc production in 2028 has had no impact on their business so far!

"At this point in time we are not seeing any impact on our business, as of now.

According to Shift Up, it was made using game assets along with AI developed by the studio’s own AI Labs.

People are worried about how much AI will be used in the game.
