Caught a video of the final score at the Daçka vs Beşiktaş game in Istanbul yesterday. There was a large group of kids rooting for the winning team. Turns out the kids are from an underprivileged school, to enroll they had to lose a parent and be low income. My heart.

I hate it when people use the phrase “Last but not least” every time they list something. Like they go, “Here is the team, Sarah, Mike, Oliver and last but not least John.” Why tf would anyone think John was the least anyways?

Growing up in Germany you're taught that nuclear energy is terrible. Yet, all my scientific friends agree that it is by far the cleanest form of energy - it is SO much better for the planet than coal/fossil fuels... I wonder if the green party/politicians can course correct?

Incredible opportunity for Turkey to attract US citizens by removing the current visa requirements (Almost instant, you can get it at the airport)

Paul Graham is 100% right on this. The EU decided to require visa from US citizens that will take two weeks to get. US citizens are the biggest spenders in the EU. This will harm the tourism industry really bad. People will just prefer to go somewhere else
