Neither the WGA or SAG-AFTRA is calling for a consumer boycott right now. If you want to support the strike, we're asking folks to:
1) Boost our message on social media
2) Donate to the Entertainment Community Fund, which supports affected workers https://t.co/HmUJCZaH2r
Some of the discourse around the #SAGstrike reminds me of an assumption about actors that I've come across for most of my life. Many people seem to assume that there are ONLY TWO kinds of actors:
1. Wildly famous, rich celebrities
2. Failed pretenders who are actually servers 1/
@magpiekilljoy I was in the UPS strike of 1997. It lasted three weeks, and was disruptive to everyday life.

@jarcher1984 @samriegel We do refer to the second floor as 'lift floor one' when riding the elevator. The basement is 'the scullery' and sub basement levels are appended with Roman numerals e.g. 'the scullery VI' is the seventh level below 'lift floor one'. Essential for riding the London Underground.

@ThatDangPhil My godson's maternal grandmother is a Hiroshima survivor. His mom has had lifelong health issues. Calling total bs on the "no fallout" storyline.
Wishing my favorite first-born son @NathanHamill the happiest of birthdays! He arrived in the UK while we were filming #Ep5, making him our #EmpireStrikesBaby
I couldn't be a more proud papa. β€οΈ
