@Guitarbizon I have a Spirit by Steinberger I bought new about 8 years ago. I love it but I also enjoy modding and setting up guitars, so it’s not really for new players. It needs some setup to dial it in but once you do, it’s very stable and plays great. It’s a fun guitar.
@gguworld That is just one of his custom built guitars from Zeke. That’s not THE 5150 we all know, even though it’s close. Wolf has THE 5150 guitar locked down safe in his possession.
@BriansElectro It’s an overbuilt piece of hardware that is more complex than it needs to be. Once you settle on a string gauge set and proper setup, how often do you really adjust your spring tension? Hardly ever.
@Bringatrailer I remember back in 92 my hometown dealership had a batch of about 50 of these in stock, all red. Base models. Parked some out front on the grass. $5,999. They sold quick. What a deal that was even in 92.
@GuitarStuffAndy I’ve got a white one just like that. Bought it about 8 years ago. Upgraded the pickups and wiring. Not my main axe but so fun to play. Took some setup and mods to dial it in but I enjoy that part.
@MocsMetal I would absolutely buy that Fernandes if I saw it hanging in a shop. I’ve never seen a S/X/S pickup configuration before. It’s a hardtail too. Very cool!
@JBONAMASSA@Fender I think it’s a smart move Joe. You taking these on the road like this is the best endorsement for the Tone Master technology. I love my tube amps too but this is the way to go for consistency and reliability. I’ll be looking into these now.
@mitchlafon It is NOT bleeped on the LWAN DVD release from 2004. I have no idea why they would bleep this now. Plenty of other live Van Hagar releases that are not censored. It makes no sense. Whose idea was this? Warners?
