#ICAcovidsafe Welp, COVID got both me and my spouse shortly after attending ICA. I tested negative so was able to return home, but she's currently stuck in Spain convalescing.
@walle_wallace94 @txlstewart1@TexasTech@TTU_CoMC@CMLLTTU Would love to chat--perhaps our online degree in PRSC (Public Relations & Strategic Communication Management) that we're launching this fall could be a fit.
Come find us at the COMC Student Welcome tomorrow from 2-4! We will have a table on the 1st floor outside of room 164. We’ll have a secret stash of new T-shirts for PRSC students who haven’t picked them up yet. Dr. Rasmussen will be there to answer any questions!
How do tweens react to social media influencers who are themselves kids?
@EricERasmussen, @Rachel_E_Riggs & @slpwills examine the effects of these so-called kidfluencers on the desire for the promoted products & lifestyles.

@SouthwestAir saved the day again. Sent our 3 kids on their 1st solo flight today. Flight was delayed, but SWA worked their magic and helped them make their connection. Brought calm to this anxious parent's heart knowing that SWA had our backs. @SWAfollower
Welp. Got the worst student evaluations I've ever gotten this semester. Don't know whether to blame it on Covid or just me. Anybody else have a similar experience?
Today I'm thankful for the little voice in my head that told me I didn't need to walk all the way across campus to buy chocolate milk because when I get home I'll need to only walk across the kitchen to get the root beer waiting for me in the fridge. A true win-win. #givethanks
My whole life I've been a pusher-througher. If there's a wall, I try to break through it. But something I'm learning from this pandemic is that it's okay to take breaks, to take time to think things through, and to not finish my daily to-do list. And I feel better as a result.
On a happier note, I'm happy to announce that after 7 years, I can now park in the parking lot next to the building I work in. According to mapmywalk, that will save me about .08 miles of walking every trip to/from my car.
I try to not criticize. But Skip Bayless' comments about mental health are ignorant and dangerous. It's comments like these that perpetuate stigma and keep people from opening up about their struggles. Mental illness is no joke, and toxic masculinity does not help.
