Technology Lost: Did you know the Romans were pouring high-strength concrete 2,000 years ago that could self-heal underwater? They built the Colosseum with it—yet when Rome fell, the recipe was completely lost for nearly a thousand years. No steel rebar, just brilliant chemistry that modern engineers are still studying today. Ancient Rome wasn’t just brute force—it was serious engineering.
@JessicaTetreau The dude doesn't even have a limo or a yacht. He puts rockets into space, he's a workaholic, and he sleeps under his desk. This warren chick just complains all the time, what has she contributed to society?
We've always had to deal with homelessness, but we managed it far better before blue-state policies took hold. California once had taxpayer-funded sanitariums where people could get a bed, food, and counseling — and it actually worked. Why do we now tolerate a bloated budget packed with state employees and NGOs that hand out needles, cash, and ballots instead?
Most of the homeless have mental issues, this helps no one and is a complete waste of money!
Homeless people are on the street for a reason, whether by their own devices or bad luck. They need medical attention, counseling, rehab and some sort of job counseling in the end. Put them In remote and controlled living situations for those who want to make changes, for those who do not want to that, do not need to be in any subsidized housing in any city, put them in jail or insane asylum’s.
@nickshirleyy We really need to bring California back into the Union. They have done nothing but destroy America and it values since it succeed from the union.
The human population is building AI. We made the billionaires—your great ideas became awesome products, and we bought them.
Jobs are already being replaced. Colleges are still cranking out degrees for obsolete careers.
We need to talk about this.
Elon, Bezos, Gates, and the rest: You’re holding most of the cards. We helped build what you’ve become, and we have skin in the game. Do you have a real plan for the rest of us? Give the people a voice in what comes next.
What’s the program going forward?
