A new whistleblower complaint reveals a serious flaw buried in USPS's mail ballot system: if even one ballot's barcode fails to scan, the entire batch — potentially thousands of ballots — gets rejected and sent back.
According to the whistleblower, USPS hasn't disclosed this to the public, and even days before launch, still has no policy for how many ballots will actually be checked.

@DDFund_@CampaignLegal & @LULAC will not allow Trump’s mail ballot interference
A whistleblower has revealed the "risky and haphazard" effort of the Postal Service to implement Trump's effort to federalize control over mail voting, saying it could lead to "catastrophic failure" in the midterms. That, of course, is the real goal, not a safer voting system, which is why the courts, Congress, and the states need to intercede. https://t.co/k4km4jx8jX
BREAKING: We just filed a lawsuit, alongside @protctdemocracy & on behalf of EPIC, to block the Trump admin's illegal effort to interfere in the 2026 midterms by compiling Americans' sensitive data to pick and choose who gets to vote.

🚨BREAKING: Whistleblower claims USPS defied court orders to rush through faulty ballot-tracking portal.
“Potentially millions of American voters may not receive their mail-in ballot this election cycle in a timely manner, or at all,” the whistleblower wrote.
The report also accuses the administration of a “pattern of defiance of court orders.”
