Been replying more than posting original things lately, but here's an update on my world.
Shelved my medical receivable software biz, never got the traction it needed to keep me interested. Of course, someone reached out wanting it recently.

@MikeCalcara@CarBusinessMan would disagree with the fail rate of the Wagoneer.
So far we are 7mo into ownership with zero issues. Maybe that changes, but I do a ton of research on cars and have never had a dud and not brand loyal. I just want the segment's best.
@MikeCalcara I would agree with that for the '22-24 model years. The thermostat issue on the Hurricane has been fixed on the 25+ and the electrical gremlins in general have been resolved. And not with bandaids like changing viscosity.
The 26 is a cosmetic refresh, no major system changes.
@MikeCalcara 5.3 for reliability, unfortunately underpowered and so-so mileage. Love the diesel but not at $5+/gal.
Went with 25 Wagoneer, better engine, better 3rd row/cargo space and early model gremlins have been fixed. Plus $10k cheaper with similar features.
@MikeCalcara 1 in 33 is not great in today's world. Not putting my family in one with those chances to get stranded on a busy highway. Not as bad as a Palisade crushing a kid in the backseat, but there are better options.
Can someone tell me why ai data centers need to be near populated areas? In the age of fiber optic data transport, I don't get why they are going in suburban areas.
@MikeBotkin_ No one in irrigation calls it amazing... lots of dynamics as to why you don't see a ton of multi-unit businesses in the space. But if you crack that nut, I'd love to be a vendor.
@mcuban So now I need to worry about everyone I've ever emailed with anything remotely private (message, photo, files) and whether their agents will use that in some nefarious way to benefit itself, let alone the person?
@MikeCalcara Hope you at least steered him toward the 5.3 and not a trim with the 6.2 exploder V8?
It's amazing how bad Toyota messed up the Sequoia cargo space just to shoehorn a hybrid that gets terrible mpg.
@LoganHaskett@reallyapriest@outsidetheboxNL Built in '17, I wanted the energy efficiency of spray foam. Wasn't until afterwards I found out the potential issues with mold in sealed attic. Luckily I had also opted for whole house dehum unit, which I re-ducted to only dehum the attic. Definitely wouldn't do foam again.
The guy that sold his biz to an idiot for $52M and proceeded to buy his mom a Kia just announced his new SOP AI tool for small businesses.
It's only 5x the cost of Loom, that does the same thing...
@KrissBergTweets@MarkSteynOnline@nypost Mark is the best, I miss hearing him on the radio. That book and the followup After America definitely changed the way I view the world and our leaders.
As someone that started my career in the semiconductor industry in 2002, the problem has been and currently is that the pay is terrible compared to other high tech jobs. So 20yrs later it's no wonder that students are picking other paths.
Speaking in favor of H-1B Visas at today’s U.S-Saudi Investment Forum in Washington, President Donald J. Trump said: “You can't come in, open a massive computer chip factory for billions and billions of dollars like is being done in Arizona, and think you're gonna hire people off an unemployment line to run it. They're gonna have to bring thousands of people with them and I'm gonna welcome those people. I love my conservative friends, I love MAGA, but this is MAGA.”
