I have called the NY unemployment benefits insurance line over 1000 times since Friday.

Website tells me to call to finish partial claim.
Phone tells me to go to website because lines are busy.
Website tells me I must speak to a person.

This should be illegal.

I've called the NY State Department of Labor Telephone Claims Center 826 times today to file for unemployment. EIGHT HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SIX TIMES. And have still yet to be met with a single fucking human. It's taken me 6 hours and I've gotten no further than where I started.
