You need a better bank that works with funds. Banks have a product specific to PE and VC funds with LP investors that will provide a special line of credit secured by your investor commitments so you only need to draw once per month/quarter or whatever. That gives you the proof of funds needed.

If no one has the resources to build houses in bulk, because you tax the rich to make everyone middle class, so no one has millions to risk on housing developments, what happens? Everyone gets Section 8 government houses?

You need concentrations of capital to make the system work. But the people that hold capital have a responsibility to participate in the system to make things better for the masses. That’s the social contract. Not taxation.

These purchases create a lot of good upper middle class jobs to fulfill. Without these expenditures you would have thousands of people out of work. Think about what it takes to make each of these and who makes that money. It would be shameful for them to hold this cash, not spend it.

If it was an art purchase for $300 million, that’s different. But these purchases create JOBS!

Would you rather the $300 million stay in a bank account or give good jobs to people building a ball room? What about all the servers and banquet staff it will employ?

Would you rather $172 million stay in a bank account or be used for aerospace jobs, and smart people in avionics? And aircraft mechanics? And people that build the engines, interiors, fusalage, upholstery for the seats, paint, etc. And then there are custodians that take care of the factory. And people that need to build those factories.
