s/o to @TimesUnion for saying plainly: "...if officials are looking to scale back its mandates to grease their political prospects in an election year, that’s not leadership; it’s a craven retreat." #DefendTheCLCPA

Honored to have the support of @ZohranKMamdani in this race.
We fought together to chart a new direction for New York and now we’re fighting to bring that vision to District 3 and City Council.
The special election is April 28th and early voting starts tomorrow. Sign up to volunteer!

@GovKathyHochul took office and promised a new era of transparency but wants to make sweeping changes to the CLCPA with no public process after years of public engagement on the law. That ain't right!
Thanks to Gov Hochul, here’s NY’s “democracy”:
➡️Governor slow walks or do not enforce laws that could hurt donors’ pockets.
➡️ Advocates sue so governor do their jobs and enforce the laws.
➡️ Instead of complying with court orders, governor use budget to change the laws.
As a rep. of one of the plaintiffs, @citizenactionny, and an attorney, I can say that the Governor’s claim is flat out false. The lower court’s decision in our favor is stayed bc of the state’s appeal. Nothing requires the Gov & the legis to modify the climate law this session.
Thanks For your leadership @SenatorHarckham! @GovKathyHochul's rollbacks won't lower bills or protect NYers from volatile energy price spikes from cold snaps and the Iran War.
Weakening the CLCPA just sends a msg that any gov can skirt the legislature and the law!
We cannot accept a complete rollback of our climate laws. Tweaks to the policies are one thing, but abandoning these policies altogether would be a mistake.
The lungs and wallets of NYers are counting on a clean energy transition.

We have a warmonger in the White House, oil prices are above $100 a barrel for the first time in years, and things are almost certain to get worse before they get better.
Tell me again that fossil fuels are the stable, affordable option, please. https://t.co/d1jbYur7Ge
@claudeai if Claude in Chrome counts against usage limits the usage/chats should show up in chat history. Not having it there disincentivizes using it.
The Voting Rights Act, the crowning achievement of the civil rights movement, is under attack.

CNC tool programmers [and presumably machinists] - the literal folks we've spent a decade trying to train through the WNY regional economic development strategy - are in the AI crosshairs.
McKinsey does it again.

Need more demographic breakdown of this data but suspecting white women are the driver of this split. Begs the question of the appeal of a candidate like Trump who (at least as an individual) so practically contradicts the economic, political & social realities of these voters.
Literally all she had to do to have an ounce of credibility to stand on was invoke and commit to uphold international law with respect to the current conflict. She never did. It makes her as much a war criminal as the rest. She's just not a wannabe Nazi
I'm almost never in Twitter (refuse to call it anything else) anymore but right that this was worth sharing for anyone who didn't know already. @elonmusk isn't some generational mind so much as another white guy who fails upward.
