A sub claim for my topic would have to be that the reporters themselves want to be biased to a certain extent due to their own beliefs, and all of the blame can’t be pushed onto conglomeration #RHUB305

Conglomerations are the new things with companies. Companies buy other companies and just inflate their overall reach. This makes companies more inclined to push agendas of other companies and change their content around such things. #RHUB305

So far this has been my favorite writing class I’ve ever had. It’s not the same old research/persuasive essay that’s just been increasing in page length since middle school. This class has really challenged my writing skills through creating a story and now a letter. #RHUB305

@Erica35394265 Hey Erica. I agree most of the letters seemed to be very pathos related. As someone who usually causes logic and reasoning above all else I was surprised by how effective pathos could be in some of the letters.

One of the letters to Obama I read by Patrick branigan was a very well written letter that played on your pathos extremely well. He was short and sweet about the letter but very direct in thanking Obama. He makes it very personal and makes it endearing #RHUB305

I’ve read MLK’s letter multiple times but never truly look at the structure of letter. I love the pacing at which he’s written the letter I don’t know how to describe it but the pacing makes it feel calm and collected as he details each conjecture and breaks it down #RHUB305

@MelyMelz333 It’s really crazy how much information is being passed around and no one really seems to care. Tiktok being the most recent example, where companies just have access to millions of people’s info being sent to a foreign country.

@martin72497474 Zuckerberg really seemed to be posting this as more of a PR thing rather than an actual plan of what Facebook was going to do. He addresses vague concepts with some ideas of what they want to do but doesn’t lay out any solid evidence of being able to do any of it. #RHUB305

Learning about discourse communities really put in to perspective how I should look at my writings. I often get in the mindset of my papers are being read by my teacher rather than actually writing something for an intended audience. Which is much more effective #RHUB305
