🔥 Log Jumper Fire Update
The Log Jumper Fire was detected within moments thanks to an alert resident and Pano‑AI cameras, which quickly captured smoke rising from the area. This early detection, combined with the rapid response of emergency crews, allowed firefighters to reach the scene quickly and stop the fire’s forward progress. The fire is currently estimated at approximately 1 acre and is now 80% contained.
The fire was caused by a lightning strike that ignited a tree.
The evacuation warning that was issued for the area has been lifted.

A wildfire is currently burning near Jackson Creek Road and Rampart Range Road.
An evacuation warning has been issued for a 3-mile radius around the fire, including the Devils Head Recreation Area.
