@dzniringiye Bishop Dr Zac Niringiye; always with the interesting conversations, it’s always a pleasure interacting with you.😊 May God continue blessing and keeping you🙏🏻🙏🏻
Back story:
I was orphaned at 5. As the first-born girl, I didn’t have the luxury of being idle. The church where I sang in the choir sponsored my education until S.4. Later, God blessed me with a wonderful stepdad who supported me in S.5 and S.6 , but I never wanted to abuse that blessing by becoming a useless girl. With younger siblings looking up to me, I was determined not to be a burden to my parents.
At Taibah International School, we had a rare Work Experience Program. While most students reported where they were posted, I took the same generic letter and went to NBS TV , because I knew what I wanted. I introduced myself at reception, and that bold step opened my journey.
I started as a volunteer, working without pay, serving tea, and reporting by 6:30 a.m. sharp. The very women others called “mean and untouchable” Doreen Katusiime(RIP) and Sauba became my greatest blessing. They recommended me to the CEO. When he asked: “When would you like to start?” I replied: “I have started.”
That’s how my career began.
I lived by two rules:
1.The boss must always find me in office, and leave me in office.
2.The boss never repeats himself.
The Bible says: “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.”
Don’t despise small beginnings. Don’t assume success comes from favors. Sometimes, it’s hard work, sacrifice, and grace that open the biggest doors.
So….today I studied from the Neurology clinic in St. Francis hospital-Nsambya; and listening to the stories 🥺 gave me just a tiny glimpse of the life of children with different neurological conditions and that of their parents. I got a whole new appreciation for their parents.
I just wish to say to any parent of a child with special needs, that you’re doing a great job 😊 and that don’t give up💪🏻!!!!
And maybe if we had more support groups, and if we improved on sensitization, we’d have less of children with special needs abandoned.
In case you didn’t know, I’m 💯 M.A.N. 💪🏾
Saturday morning working in my office when the two little tornadoes 🌪️ bust in yelling
“DADDY CAN WE BORROW YOU FOR TWO MINUTES!?!”
“Sure, but don’t put anything on my face, I have a zoom meeting in 20 minutes”
“OK DADDY”
Well, technically they DID keep my face clean for my zoom 🤣
(years from now making daddy look silly won’t be cool to them anymore so I’ll take it while I can)
😉🙋🏽♂️

Dear Medics, find time and educate some members of gov't about medical internship! A section of them believe it is as ordinary as any other university course internship, which is doltish, to say the least! That's y some will say why do we pay them yet in my SWASWA(e.g) I wasn't.
