We focused on understanding what depression/substance abuse is , what really happens in the brain for one to develop these disorders, the symptoms for each, where to seek help and demystifying the myths and stigma associated with depression and substance abuse.

With funding from the rotary club of mental health and wellness, through the “Be Kind Scholarship” that was offered to our Director @MaryLilian18 , we conducted mental health talks with the youth in Katanga Slum focusing mainly on depression and substance abuse.
