During my PhD defence, my external examiner said that my thesis was 'the best illustrated thesis I have ever examined' π¨
I really enjoy illustration and I believe it makes the content a lot more accessible βΊοΈ

Finished my latest painting! π¨
Inspired by the juxtaposition of drama and peace of the coastline of Aotearoa π
Happy with the result but looking forward to returning to more familiar mediums - ink and watercolours π

I started as a soil and land scientist with the Otago Regional Council last month
It's super exciting to be working with the amazing science team to monitor and support this beautiful region ποΈ

In this role, my creativity was valued and I developed these visuals as part of the reports I worked on π¨
