@WellsFargo Never tires of sleazy practices. I've been a customer for decades, have more than once declined their solicitations to switch to paperless. Now they throw this dark pattern UI up at me as I do a routine sign-in. Confirm a UI selection ("choice") I never actually made.
If 45,000 people died per year in the US in airplane crashes, an average of 25 commercial flights per month @ 150 passengers per flight, would you still fly?
@BillHeyman I think there is substantial truth in this. On the range anxiety front, once enough hotels and airbnbs have Level2 chargers, that will help a lot. The rental demographic has a long ways to go (though could be solved quickly if sufficient demand)
UPDATE Pretty sure I figured it out. I was subscribed to Max. Went to cancel, was offered 3 months bundle for $4 per month. Took that deal. However, the bundle doesn’t starts until my last month of Max-only ends. Argh.
@hbomax Subscribed to bundle on Max. Login to Hulu and Disney doesn’t recognize bundle wants me to sign up. Also chat bot doesn’t send my messages. Already lost an hour to this garbage. Please call me 9524848008. Otherwise I have to cancel. Thanks. @hulu_support@Disney
@Rocketstar_ Agreed. Any game-time interview is dumb and pointless. I hate the NBA 1st amd3rd quarter interviews. Just one of many reasons I only watch sports via DVR.
When you buy a gun, you’re shown pictures of gunshot victims.
If your neighbor suspects you of buying a gun, they can call a hotline.
If you’re from a state where guns are illegal, you can be arrested if you buy a gun out of state.
Oh sorry, these are all abortion laws.
Truly one of the best things about living in Minneapolis is the fact that the original Park Board was smart enough to buy up the land all around the lakes and the creek and river
This is so maddening and heartbreaking- I’m not sure from a policy standpoint what the fix is. DWI 5 was in 2015, do we want to provide a path back into society and driving again or do we want to say after #5 you never get a license again? I truly don’t know the best path here.
