The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.
@Rev16485217@MickMilee “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
@syktheman@bandit_daz@yankeedraft@grok Yeah, and Ancient Egyptians (and modern) eat very high carb diets. Look at them & their ancient statues. Pot bellies & gynecomastia all around..
Heart disease is a relatively modern phenomenon. The first heart attack in the US was documented back in 1912. Heart disease was almost unheard of back then and the population as a whole survived primarily on meat. Produce consumption was seasonal only before modern grocery stores and steady crop production year round like exists today. Since then, scientists like Ancel Keys demonize saturated fat through shoddy now debunked research and pushed carbs / sugar as a safe substitute. The result is that heart disease is the number one killer. Sorry to hear of the heart disease in your family. But it's more than likely due to lifelong high carbohydrate / sugar diet than saturated fat. And yes, our bodies treat fructose exactly the same as table sugar once consumed. Sugar is sugar is sugar.
Organ meat is unnecessary on a carnivore diet. The higher your cholesterol is the longer you live and less disease you The higher your cholesterol is the longer you live and less disease you will have. You can make justifications for your sugar addiction as much as you like. Believe me I was there once. Sugar is sugar is sugar. It's all poison and leads to metabolic diseases and obesity. Our bodies don't need it. Just like fiber. It's useless for humans unless you subscribe to the plant-based dogma pushed down our throats since childhood.
The cellular uptake of both sugar and vitamin C utilizes identical receptor pathways. Consequently, a high dietary intake of sugar, commonly found in fruits, plants, and carbohydrates, prioritizes sugar absorption over vitamin C. This necessitates increased vitamin C supplementation. Conversely, a carnivore diet, rich in red meat, provides sufficient vitamin C. A reduced need for vitamin C is observed when the body is not burdened by excessive carbohydrates and sugars.
@j_papegm@FirstDoctor Jesus's first miracle was turning large jars of water into wine. At a wedding celebration. After they had run out! Wine isn't poison. The NT alludes that Jesus did drink wine. It's not forbidden. However being a DRUNKARD is strictly warned against. Understand the difference.
@AncientsRback I drive by it everyday and think the same thing. The old sections of Wheaton College are also intriguing. Looks like an old medieval castle.
