I got to tell an IOC EB member and a IOC/WA board member that they made a terrible mistake taking away this amazing event. I can shout that all day into the twittersphere but to look into their eyes and speak my truth was as good a feeling as putting that medal around my neck.

So so so proud of @DamianWarner. The hardest part of these Games was not being trackside to cheer on him, Pierce & Georgia (and provide dubiously legal live coverage on Instagram 🙈). We have so many athletes who could fly the flag but personally I can’t think of a better choice!
