I use tweetbot & haven't noticed a change in my twitter experience...yet. Where are all of you going if/when Twitter finally breaks? I'm on Post. News, terrified of Mastadon & have heard rumblings about Hive. A teacher friend mentioned Pinterest...not sure about that one!
Y'all, Apple is almost certainly threatening to pull Twitter because they've stopped following Apple's objectionable content policy.
(Follow @AuschwitzMuseum which is tracking how suddenly reports of antisemitic content are being found "within policy" at Twitter.)
I am filled with gratitude today. My model Y @Tesla โArtemisโ met a deer last night and we are all okay. I hope sheโs truly immortal and it wonโt be long until weโre cruising together again. Thanks @elonmusk for creating a safe and gorgeous car

A8 #DPVILSChat Twitter / TikTok/ etc have been catalysts for change in my own growth. Continued exposure to the greater world outside of my house or small town push to me to question, to dig and ultimately to become a better person than I was the day before.
A7 Continued #DPVILSchat I love assessments that have an open ended question that is something along the lines of "what do you know about this topic that I didn't ask about"
A7 #DPVILSchat Equity in assessments is such a good thing to dive into! Cultural references (assumptions). I believe that most assessments are designed for neurotypical Ss and that puts nureodivergent Ss at a disadvantage with how they are assessed.
A6 con'td #DPVILSchat his mom brought in henna and we did henna tattoo art and celebrated lights & food & Ss were so engaged because the young man and his family made it real to them..they soaked up the lessons. Making space for Ss to bring their whole selves built relationships
A6 #DPVILSchat Many moons ago in my second grade classroom, we studied winter holidays (Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanza) One year I had a student who celebrated Diwali and we made space for that even though it wasn't a state standard. I taught it every year from then on.
A3 Starting with demographics and comparing it to behavior reports (minor incident reports) Looking to see if there's a discrepancy between the two and start the conversation with some safe "wonderings" #DPVILSchat
@matthewlspears well, I've learned that sometimes folks get defensive- but that just means there's deeper & more work to be done.If there's a pop of 20% black/AA students & the minor incident report shows 75% of Ss written up across 3 teachers are B/AA..that convo needs to take place #DPVILSchat
