โIt was Canada from Atlantic to Pacific on parade. I thought then, and I think today, that in those few minutes I witnessed the birth of a nation.โ

@Mattxduchak@ProjectPearson There are some people who try & be contrarian with almost everything I weigh in on. Sometimes we donโt agree and they canโt seem to just live with healthy disagreement. Others are more about performance posts for the people that agree with them. This platform facilitates that.
@Mattxduchak@ProjectPearson I provided the Transport Canada study on passenger loads & context on the debates held on BB & decisions related to the Pickering Airport and its cancellation. You may not agree and that is fine but the island airport has not prevented good or bad decisions on the waterfront.
Great discussion on defence innovation in Newfoundland & Labrador on @THESIGNALCBC. We spoke about Kraken & other great Canadian innovators. Proud to also talk about serving on @HMCSStJohns alongside the smartest OโRegan brother :). @SeamusORegan ๐จ๐ฆ

@Mattxduchak@ProjectPearson I read everything and there were no such proposals. Some good points on traffic and environmental concerns. Talk about Chicago and other ideas are interesting but not real.
@kyle_maguire Remember the fact that I support rail and wish it could work but extreme cost cannot be justified particularly when only two provinces would benefit. HFR makes it more practical.
@ProjectPearson@ChristianLevac Anon group that only protects the polarized nature of this channel. Mike Pearson would expect more when you use his likeness. I probably quoted him in the HoC more than most MPs.
@AdithyaIzOn Follow a little closer. I actually advocate for Hugh Frequency Rail and was likely one of the most consistent rail supporters in the HoC. I also try to be one of the more consistent financial realists too. EVTOL will come too.
@CoryJudson For me it is about the people and smart public policy. 2+ million use Billy. Millions will never use Alto which is why a transparent cost / benefit analysis is needed.
@davidkmcgown@smiley37555@Unbranded63 Thank you David. We need to realize that it is OK to disagree and to debate with facts and not attacks. Hope you are well.
As a fan and regular user of VIA Rail, I applaud this move by the government. I also think it is great that these locomotives will be used by the High Frequency Rail line that will likely what Alto will become in the next 2-3 years.

@hanskung@MLTspecialties@GraChurch That is a very valid point and means that perhaps any expansion of flights is phased according to plans. Many ways to mitigate concerns without suggesting the site is not important to southern Ontario.
@PH_OSINT Protest songs are not sources to support a position IMO. As I said, it is OK to disagree on an issue. I try and do that fairly and if it seems terse maybe that is likely the result of too many years on social on my part and the tribal nature of the platform.
@SturdyHugh The airport already serves 2 million plus per year and Transport Canada highlighted its role in southern Ontario air travel in 2011/12.Since that time Buttonville has closed and the proposed Pickering Airport was cancelled.
