Santy西班牙语 (SantySpanish) is a content creator on Bilibili who makes online educational videos on Spanish.

In the Donghua PV's comment section on the official LOTM Donghua's bilibili account, he announced that he felt honored to be selected as the Spanish voice actor for the broadcast confirmation PV! (only the PV!)

This means!
1. I am now pretty confident to assume that all seven languages of the PV's dub are done by people, not by AI. The catch is just that, they are most likely done by Chinese voice actors.

2. This also explained why some native speakers stated that they felt off while listening to the DUB of their mother tongue/proficient language. This is because the PV is done by a Chinese voice actor who speaks a second language, not by a native speaker.

3. Notice how he said he's only the Spanish voice actor for the PV, not for the series. This may mean that Tencent asked him to do all male voices in the PV. In order to save cost and to release the PV on time for the promotion.

This ALSO means, the actual DUB of the show in which ever language other than Chinese, will probably be done by the international distributors, who will be hiring different professional voice actors and actresses for the different characters.

4. Lastly, I want to criticize Tencent that, even though they hired people to voice the PV, they probably could have done a better job at making sure the grammar were correct. Because while the Chinese voice actor might not speak like a native speaker, they could have at least gotten the grammar correct if the scripts were thoroughly proofread. Sloppy job on that, Tencent!

Anyways. I am looking forward to the English Dubs, and I will be watching it in Chinese and English. Cheers.
