🇮🇹⚖️ A Supreme Court rules on a major health issue: mobile phone manufacturers must now clearly inform consumers about the risks of their devices. There is no hiding behind scientific uncertainty, either: doubt no longer exempts manufacturers from informing users.

A $20 billion AI data center was planned for rural North Carolina. Residents organized, pushed back, and the developer ultimately withdrew the proposal.
The company envisioned a massive multi phase campus near Tarboro in Edgecombe County. Reports indicated the project could eventually span up to 300 acres and draw as much as 900 megawatts of power.
Supporters highlighted potential jobs and tax revenue. Residents, however, voiced serious concerns about water use, higher utility bills, pollution, and continuous noise from industrial equipment and backup generators. They circulated petitions, attended public meetings, and urged county officials to consider a 24 month moratorium on new data centers.
In July 2026 the developer pulled the proposal from county consideration. The decision marked a clear victory for the residents who refused to remain silent.
The episode sent a strong message from this small North Carolina community. Even Big Tech’s billions do not automatically outweigh the voices of the people who live on the land.
Ensin on koko talven rempattu tietä, sitten Valo vetää valokuidut. Sitten uusi asfaltti ja kunta laittaa tienpientareet. Sitten tulee Elisa ja kaivaa uudestaan ja laittaa omat valokuidut. On kyllä sanonko mistä.
There is growing opposition to the infrastructure surrounding data centers, too — particularly the transmission lines needed to power them, which often must cross land belonging to private citizens. (via @ConversationUS) https://t.co/SDUakJnyHn
France is now the latest country to pass a sweeping social media ban for children under the age of 15.
The measure, which also bans the use of cellphones in high schools, passed in both chambers of Parliament.
France joins a growing list of countries implementing or considering such bans, including Australia, Greece and the U.K.
Otin esimerkin Lapintiestä siksi, ettei yksikään puolue maassamme halua puuttua rakenteelliseen korruptioon tämän tietyn teollisuudenalan (digi) kohdalla.
Rakenteellinen korruptio.

'These findings suggest that...long-term exposure to ELF-PEMF may cause oxidative stress, apoptosis, and inflammation in renal tissue and alter the histological structure and cellular homeostasis.'

New research in Science reveals that weak RF radiation disrupts bat navigation for hours beyond exposure, while a separate study suggests homing pigeons may use magnetic-sensing macrophages in their liver to find their way home. https://t.co/80FIJEVcsg
A 2026 systematic review led by Meike Mevissen, commissioned by the WHO and published in Environment International, found evidence linking RF radiation to cancer in animals. It became the journal’s most-downloaded paper of 2025 with ~28,000 downloads
